An integral part of our approach in supporting environmental initiatives is the development of Public-Private Partnerships. Activities include supporting policy development and institutional strengthening of public sector bodies and the development of capacity building in environmental impact assessment.

EU-China CDM
China has placed significant emphasis on developing national level infrastructure to cope with the large potential for CDM projects across China. DS has been active in its support to China, and is currently implementing one of the largest European Commission funded CDM projects to date.
EU-China CCS
Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is designed to minimise the environmental impact of rising CO2 levels in the biosphere through the capture and storage of CO2. The STRACO2 project is responsible for the research on applicability of EU CCS Regulation in China and providing managerial and organisational support.
