The EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) is a cornerstone of the European Union’s policy to combat climate change and its key tool for reducing industrial greenhouse gas emissions cost-effectively. Launched in 2005, the EU ETS works on the ‘cap and trade’ principle.
EU-China CDM Facilitation Project
China has placed significant emphasis on developing national level infrastructure to cope with the large potential for CDM projects across China. DS has been active in its support to China, and is currently implementing one of the largest European Commission funded CDM projects to date.
