The seminar brought together IP authorities from China, the EU and Japan as well as investors and members of the legal profession to discuss important aspects of IP Protection in China and its link to continued foreign direct investment. Seminars on IPR enforcement and protection strategies were delivered to an audience of approximately 250 attendees including Chinese government officials, academics and rural agricultural specialists. Around 30 international specialists attended from Europe, US and Japan and keynote speeches were given by government and industry representatives from the three participating regions.

DS worked with the European Commission and Japanese government representatives during every stage of planning and preparation for the seminar. As well as support in the development of the technical themes of the seminar and selection of seminar speakers and attendees, expertise was provided in venue logistics, technical support, pre-seminar research reporting and evaluation, and press relations.
