Intellectual Property Rights
IPR are a fundamental trade concern in various developing countries and IP training is increasingly used as a technical assistance tool between developed and developing countries. Given the importance of IPR in the current trading regime, DS have implemented a series of IPR activities in China and Asia since 2002.
ICT Procurement
The availability of comparatively cheap yet reliable manufacturing capacity in China has led it to be known as the “world’s factory”. As China’s capabilities and aspirations begin to move up the value chain, DS conducted a research study on ICT procurement opportunities and China and Vietnam.
